You know that I'm fairly comfortable making tiny items out of normal clay or polymer clay. Many have said that the items that I make would look wonderful as cake toppers!
You know those tv shows where they compete to make a reaaaally huge and amazing cake? Very cute, but the cakes have so much un-edible "junk" in them. So for me, the way to decorate a cake (maybe besides a wedding cake topper, which can be non-edible) is marzipan.
I don't like marzipan. It's too sweet. BUT I found this small package of different coloured marzipan blocks and decided to give it a go.
Lets just say that marzipan is a whole lot harder to work with than polymer clay. But here's my first shot at it: marzipan leaves.

It's so lovely, great job :3
VastaaPoistaYummy, I like marzipan, in small doses of course. For my last birthday I bought this big pack of blue marzipan and made a little girl of it sitting on the cake. It looked a little alienesque due to the color but that's what made it even more special ;D
VastaaPoistaEntonces se puede comer?
VastaaPoistaDe cualquier forma, me encanta el resultado.
